Asia premiere of an exceptional for women-only event in BANGKOK!

Thailand will host for the first time on March 17-18, 2016 at Anantara Bangkok Riverside Resort and Spa the Festival du féminin®. Created and initiated in Paris by Centre Tao, this registered trademark festival today is all over France and in French speaking countries and it is rapidly developing internationally.

During two days, we the women are invited onto a beautiful inner self- journey to discover, feel, contact and connect the multiple facets and spaces of our Feminity.

The Festival du féminin consists of 20 interactive workshops guided by an array of experienced and acclaimed international facilitators, most of them coming from France and Quebec specifically for this event.
They are therapist, ethnologist, sexologist, lecturer, writer, shaman, dancer, painter, ener- getic healer, coach, midwife or wise women. They all generously share and transmit their long experience to accompany and empower women to trust and follow their own path to reach their essence, their deepest, most sacred and most lively inner world.

This festival is to be physically and spiritually experienced with all senses awakened thanks to participative workshops that expose women to a wide variety of practices of initiation rituals, dance, visualization, meditation, healing modalities, arts.

It is joyful, it is liberating, it is convivial, it is soft, it is powerful, it is communicative, it is fulfilling, it is vibrant, it is pleasurable, and it is swinging!

Where am I at as a woman? How do I live my femininity in my heart, in my body, in my belly?

The welcoming speech at opening ceremony of the Festival du Féminin in Bangkok: 

Dear friends from here and abroad,

My name is Sylvie, Sylvie Baradel, I am the organizer of this first edition of the Festival du feminin Bangkok.

I m now standing in front of you with emotion, with gratitude, with joy that you came here so many to respond to the call of awakening the values and qualities of the feminine dimensions, of our true essence. Thank you for joining.

The festival du féminin is a beautiful international movement bringing together a large tribe of women and giving them powerful opportunities to share and to celebrate precious moments of our inner path.

Whether we are man or woman,what are your own beliefs of femininity ?
Which in depth values have been carried by your mom, by your dad, the female or male members of your family, of your cultural group or community ?
Who embodied for you the joy, the pride, the freedom, the beauty, the wisdom of your femininity ?
Or in constrast who embodied the burden, the weakness, the shame and the fear found in femininity ?

How do I ,
How do you,
How do we deny, reject, inhibit or
How do I
How do you
How do we honour, accept, embrace and welcome our femininity at all levels of our heart, soul, body and mind ?

These are some of the issues that you are invited to experience during these two days at three levels:

– Festival du feminin spirit is an invitation with yourself in connection with the self love, the power of your self- esteem.

– Second Festival du feminin spirit is a tranformative journey to be in connection and resonnance with the other woman as your miror

– and last but not least , and this is why we are here today, Festival du feminin spirit is a shift of consciousness with the world in connection of how women, how we as the women we are, can bring the consciousness of peace, of harmony around us and by extension to the society and the world of today and tomorrow.

So , before everything this is an invitation, kindly remember the quote of Dalai Lama saying, ” When we talk we are only repeating what we already know, but if you listen you may learn something new.”.
So we invite you, and i will kindly urge you as much as you can to listen to yourself.

Today we are officially celebrating and honoring the spirit of Festival du feminin here in Thailand.
I had a vision when i started this project that , as we are the guests of this country, all of us of this beloved country that we are calling home, we wish the Festival du feminin not just to be by women for women but but byThai women for Thai women.

So before I hand over the microphone to Delphine and Christine as the founders of the Festival du feminin and then to Khun Vorachan Thiengtham as our ambassador representing the Thai women , I would like to thank these beautiful wise women, inspiring facilitators, who puposely came a long way from far abroad just to be with us, to guide us.

So it is now time to hand over the flame, obviously for security reason there is no flame, that ‘s the beauty of these mandala flowers that we will be handing over. This is, just a part, of the festival du feminin neckace traveling from one festival to another festival that Christine and Delphine are going to present further..

My last words to you all participants will be ‘Enjoy the festival to the fullest and thanks again to be here”.
My very last words will be to heartfully welcome my two beloved sisters which are Anne and Gisèle, with me , with us for the Festival. Yes it is also a true sisterwood movement !, and I’ll finish by dedicating this first edition of Festival du féminin Bangkok to my mother Monique and to my daughter Lola and to all women of my lineage before and after me.. and once again to all of you. Thank you.
